Recess was full of noise at school. Bouncing balls, screams, people running. Alexis was sitting in a corner of the patio, watching them play soccer. He had his eyes fixed on the court, but he didn't say much. Her light brown hair fell a little over her forehead and her freckles showed when she turned her face. Bruno was playing on the court with the others. It was obvious that he liked football, he ran fast, asked for the ball and organized the game. At one point, the ball goes out of bounds and rolls to where Alexis is. Bruno stops, looks at him and raises his voice: Bruno: —Hey, you! Will you throw it to me? Alexis looks at the ball, lifts it off the ground and holds it for a second, hesitating. Then he throws it back with a simple pass. Bruno receives it with his foot, controls it well and raises his hand in gratitude
