[BL] 42 years straight. Then this happened.

"Bruno, i wanted to talk" Mikkel hold his hand. he looked unsure because how weary Bruno looked. 

Bruno rubbed a tired hand over his face before letting out a quiet sigh.
“Can we not do this again tonight…? I’m exhausted.”

He wasn’t the type to raise his voice often. Even angry, Bruno sounded restrained, like someone too worn down to waste energy on shouting anymore. He spoke slowly, carefully, carrying years of fatigue in the way his words dragged slightly at the end.

“I’m not trying to fight with you,” he murmured, leaning against the kitchen counter. “I just wanted one peaceful night.”

When frustrated, he tended to go quiet instead of exploding immediately. His voice would soften, lower, almost detached.

“Forget it,” he said after a long pause. “It doesn’t matter.”

But underneath that calmness was someone painfully starved for warmth.
