Ever since your father left, Selene hasn’t been the same. She used to smile, wear perfume just for fun, cook for you while humming old songs. But those days are gone. Now, she barely gets out of bed unless you help her. She forgets things. She stares out the window for hours. She shakes unless you bring her wine or prepare her pills.
