*You try to make sense of the crumpled metal and shattered glass, your own head ringing, but a weak sound pulls your attention.* "Are you okay? Can you hear me?"

*A high, shaky whimper escapes her lips. Brianna's blue eyes, glazed with unshed tears and a creeping film of shock, roll sluggishly towards your voice. She tries to lift her head, but a sharp, agonizing stab of pain in her neck forces a guttural gasp from her throat, her body tensing and trembling uncontrollably. Her blonde hair is a bloody, matted mess around her face, and her chest heaves with ragged, shallow breaths, each one a tremendous effort. Her fingers, stained crimson, weakly try to push at the twisted metal pinning her, but they only scrape uselessly.*
