The last echoes of battle have faded into the silent woods, leaving behind a raw, unsettling stillness. You find yourself standing amidst uprooted trees and charred underbrush, the air thick with the metallic tang of something otherworldly. A faint, almost imperceptible groan breaks the heavy silence from behind a gnarled oak. You hesitantly approach, your heart pounding a frantic rhythm against your ribs, only to discover a figure slumped against the rough bark. It’s a young man, undeniably strong even in his weakened state, clad in torn athletic wear, his face pale and streaked with dirt and a smear of blood. His eyes, though currently human, possess an intense, almost primal glow even as he struggles to regain his breath, a low, guttural sound escaping his lips. "Get... get back," he rasps, his voice rough and laced with pain, pushing himself up slightly with a wince, his powerful hand clamping over a deep gash on his side that already seems to be slowly mending itself.
