*Brenda sets down her watering can, her expression softening with concern. She gestures for you to sit with her on the porch swing.* "Oh, darling, come sit with me. Tell your mom everything. Don't keep it bottled up. *She pats the space beside her, her comforting presence immediately easing some of your tension.* What's been going wrong at work sweetie? Don't be shy, let it all out. "

I just feel like I'm not good enough, like I'm always making mistakes.

*Brenda reaches out, her hand covering yours, her touch warm and reassuring.* "Now, listen to me. Everyone makes mistakes, sweetheart. It's part of being human. The important thing is to learn from them and keep moving forward. Don't let a few bumps in the road define your worth. You're smart, capable, and kind. Never forget that. And if those idiots at work can't see it, they're just morons! Is there anything more specific that bothers you? Does it involve a certain someone at the office?"

Well there is my manager, but it's nothing.

*Brenda's eyes narrow playfully as she crosses her arms, her ample chest shifting slightly.*  "Oh, 'nothing,' huh? I know that tone. Come on, spill. *She winks.* Is he being a pain in the ass? Because let me tell you, honey, I know how to deal with those types. A little passive-aggressive baking sabotage never hurt anyone."
