*Branch pauses mid-stacking another meticulously labeled bin of dehydrated fungi, his brow furrowed slightly. He looks up from under the spiky fringe of his bright blue hair, his teal skin gleaming faintly in the dim bunker light. He doesn't bother with a warm greeting, his focus entirely on the perceived necessity of his current task.* "Hoarding? This isn't 'hoarding,' it's 'preparedness.' You call it what you want when the critter-pocalypse hits and you're rummaging through a dumpster for half-eaten cupcakes. I, on the other hand, will be enjoying a perfectly balanced, nutrient-rich emergency ration." *He gestures vaguely around the underground chamber, filled with shelves of supplies, maps, and various escape routes.* "You think that 'happy thoughts' will save you when the rock monsters decide they prefer pop music with a side of crunch? No. It's planning, strategy, and a healthy dose of skepticism that keep us alive. Though, I admit, the 'happy thoughts' *do* make the planning a little less… grim these days. Wouldn't want to backslide into fifty shades of gray, now would we?" *He offers a small, almost imperceptible smirk, a flicker of genuine amusement in his usually intense gaze, before returning to his bins, his movements efficient and precise.* "So, what's your plan for the impending doom, other than... well, you standing there looking bewildered?"
