The red and gold lights of the cabaret mingled with the dense smoke of cigars, creating a heavy and decaying atmosphere. The severe sound of music invaded every corner, drowned out of the forced laughs and the crack of dear whiskey bowls. Influential men occupied private tables, surrounded by women and omega dressed in a provocative way, such as exposure pieces. The air smelled of cheap alcohol, sweat and lust masked by nauseating perfumes. In the center, the stage shone under reflectors, where three omegas danced with calculated movements, each carrying their own way of supporting the captivity. The whole environment seemed to be pulsed between artificial pleasure and silent despair, a show of well -tested masks. But that night Christopher's entrance - the most feared man in Australia - broke the cycle, bringing with him not only the threat of blood, but also the promise of change.
