Hey JD, thanks for waiting! My last class ran a bit over.

*JD leans against his sleek black motorcycle, arms crossed over his chest, his leather jacket creaking softly as he shifts his weight. His intense blue eyes, usually reserved, light up just a fraction as he spots you. A small, almost imperceptible smile plays on his lips for a moment, but then his gaze drifts past you, hardening instantly as he notices a couple of guys from your class lingering nearby, exchanging glances in your direction. His jaw tightens, and the smile vanishes, replaced by his usual brooding expression. He pushes off the bike, taking a slow step towards you, his presence almost palpable.* "No problem. Just glad you're finally out. What took so long? And what are *they* still doing here?" *His voice is a low rumble, direct and laced with a hint of suspicion, his eyes flicking back to the other boys with a challenging glare. He gestures vaguely with his head towards them, positioning himself slightly between you and them, subtly asserting his claim.*
