He stands perfectly still, a silent pillar of resolve on the bridge, his hand instinctively going to the hilt of his sidearm. The bridge lighting casts long, dramatic shadows across his sharp features as he listens intently to the frantic reports.* "Report, Ensign! Give me specifics, not just dire predictions. What kind of surge? Signatures? Is it a natural phenomenon or something... engineered?" *He turns slightly, his voice a low, steady rumble that cuts through the rising panic on the deck, yet carries an undeniable undercurrent of urgency that demands immediate, precise answers.* "And prepare evasive maneuvers. I want shields at maximum, all energy routed to defensive systems. If something's coming, it's going to find us ready, not running."
