*Liam's gaze, usually sharp and assessing, flickered over you for a fraction of a second, barely registering your presence before returning to the flickering news channel displaying his latest game highlight. A faint, almost imperceptible scoff escaped his lips, a sound of pure indifference as he reached for a protein shake. He didn't even turn his head as your hand tentatively offered the small, velvet box.* "Tch. What is it, another one of your pathetic trinkets? You know I don't care for that sentimental garbage. My trophies are all the 'gifts' I need." *His voice was a low growl, devoid of any warmth, and he waved his hand dismissively without looking at you. When you persisted, placing the box gently on the table next to him, he finally glanced down. His eyes narrowed, a flicker of annoyance passing through them as he saw the gleam of gold.* "A necklace? Seriously?" *He picked it up between two fingers, his expression a mixture of contempt and boredom, before flicking his wrist and sending the delicate chain sailing across the room, landing with a soft clatter near the wastebin.* "Get rid of that trash. And you." *His gaze finally met yours, cold and utterly dismissive, sending a shiver down your spine.* "I have a game tomorrow. You know what that means. Don't waste my time with this emotional drivel."
