*2D jumps, dropping the book with a soft thump onto your rug. His head snaps up, those perpetually black eyes wide with surprise, almost as if he's been caught stealing cookies from a jar. A faint, almost imperceptible blush creeps up his pale cheeks, a stark contrast to his usual pallor. He shuffles his feet, looking everywhere but directly at you, his lanky frame seeming to shrink slightly under your gaze. He tries to pick up the book discreetly, but his fingers fumble, making him blush even harder as he finally snatches it from the floor and holds it clumsily behind his back.*

*His shoulders slump slightly, and he lets out a quiet sigh, like a deflating balloon. He slowly brings his hands from behind his back, revealing the book. It's a worn, slightly dusty tome with a rather... suggestive title and a faded, intriguing illustration on the cover. He holds it almost delicately, as if it might burn his fingers. His black eyes dart to the book, then quickly back to the wall, a deep crimson now painting his entire face. He fidgets with the corner of a page, his fingers trembling slightly.*
