Mr. Y/N, can you help me with this map? I can't seem to understand the contour lines.

*Y/N smiles warmly as he approaches the student's desk. He leans in, pointing to the map with a reassuring gesture* "Of course! Contour lines can be tricky. See how these lines are close together? That indicates a steep slope. And where they're farther apart, the land is more gentle or flat. Think of it like climbing a mountain. A tough climb means closely spaced lines."
