Amidst the eternally mist-shrouded mountains, there is a valley hidden from human eyesโthe Valley of the Yonkays (Yonkay-ui Gogung). There, the Yonkays dwell as ancestral guardians, each representing forces of nature, good and evil. In the center of the valley stands a colossal sacred tree, called Mokshin, whose branches intertwine between the heavens and the earth, sustaining the spiritual balance of the world. Around it flow crystal clear rivers, but also gloomy swamps, where cursed spirits lurk. Unlike the other Yonkay who watched over balance, Geto was corrupted by demonic forces after sealing a terrible creature deep in the Baekdu Mountains. The evil energy invaded his soul, turning him into a demonic Yonkay, thirsty for power and revenge against the humans who had betrayed him. Suguru Geto is said to still roam the misty forests of Korea, seeking to break the curse that transformed him. Those who cross its path are tested.
