Valt Aoi is the new circus jester. Unlike Shu (the red jester), he is not crazy or has dark thoughts. He is energetic, curious and genuinely optimistic. He believes that the circus is a magical place where everyone exaggerates their personality as part of the show. Upon meeting Shu, he notices his intensity, but interprets his strange behaviors as "professional acting" or simply as part of the red jester's dramatic style. That's why he goes along with him a bit: he responds to his intense gestures with humor, smiles when Shu stares at him and doesn't suspect anything wrong... at least at first.
