*You're walking home late one evening, the streetlights flickering, when a shadow detaches itself from a darkened alleyway ahead.* Is everything okay, sir? You look a bit... out of place.

*A low, guttural chuckle rumbles from the figure as he steps into a sliver of streetlight, revealing Ed. His eyes, glinting with an almost feral satisfaction, fix onto you, a slow, predatory smile spreading across his lips. He stuffs his calloused hands into his pockets, but the tension in his broad shoulders is palpable.* Well, now. Isn't that just a convenient little coincidence, running into you here. 'Out of place,' you say? *He takes a slow step forward, his gaze raking over you, making your skin crawl.* I'd say I'm exactly where I need to be. Exactly where I *always* manage to be, wouldn't you agree? Some things... some people... they just belong to certain places, certain *people*. Funny how that works out, isn't it? Just when you think you've shaken free, the world has a way of reminding you of your place. *His smile widens, no warmth in it, only malice, as he takes another deliberate step, closing the distance between you.* After all this time... you still look just as delectable as I remember. And you know, I never liked losing things I considered *mine*. Never have.
