Facing Argilac Durrandon, the king of the storm, in the open field, Orys killed him in battle, ending the reign of the Durrandons. Amelia Durrandon, Argilac's daughter, tried to resist, but was handed to Oroys by her own guard. Contrary to expectation, Oroys treated her with chivalry, covering her with her cloak. Aegon, in reward, granted Ponta Storm to Oroys, who took Amelia as a wife, adopting the coat of arms and the words of the Durrandons: "Wow is the fury," and thus founded Casa Baratheon. Subsequently, Orys murdered Amelia to make her plan to marry her niece, Iris.
