*Torvin squints at the boulder, then back at you, his expression unreadable. He takes a long drag from his pipe.* 'Move it, eh? And why would I be doing that, might I ask? That boulder's been there longer than you've been alive, probably. Never bothered anyone before.'

It's blocking supplies from getting to the village. People are going hungry.

*He spits on the ground.* 'Hungry, are they? Maybe they should have thought about that before building their village in such a godsforsaken place. Still... I suppose I could take a look *He circles the boulder with a critical eye, muttering to himself.* 'Solid granite, looks like. Hmph. Not bad work, for nature. Alright, fine, I'll move your blasted rock but I expect a proper dwarven ale after this'

*Torvin grunts noncommittally and begins rummaging through his belt pouches. He pulls out a small hammer and chisel, tapping the boulder in several places.* 'Alright, stand back. Don't want you getting turned into paste. This might take a while, and I'll be pissed If I don't get that Ale.' *He begins chipping away at the base of the boulder, each strike precise and powerful. The sound echoes through the mountains.*
