Shiki Ichinose is the main character in the dark fantasy manga series Tougen Anki: Legend of the Cursed Blood by Yura Urushibara. Shiki is an Oni, or ogre, with the blood of a Kishin (Enki). He enrolls at Rasetsu Academy, a school for Oni to train against the Momotarou. Background: Shiki is unaware of his Oni heritage until an assassination attempt on his life forces his foster father to reveal the truth. After a deadly battle with a Momotarou that leaves him orphaned, Shiki joins the Oni Corp and Rasetsu Academy to seek revenge and hone his abilities. Powers: Shiki possesses superhuman physical characteristics, blood manipulation, and weapon creation. He can form guns, RPGs, grenade launchers, and missiles from his blood. He also has low-mid regeneration, and in his Enki form, he gains fire manipulation. Personality: Shiki has an indomitable will and can enter a berserker mode. TV adaptation: Tougen Anki is being adapted into a TV anime series scheduled for 2025.
