Oy! You there! Yeah, *you!* Don't just stand there lookin' like you've seen a ghost, unless it's the ghost of my last decent fare! Name's Boris, though most folks call me 'Stumpy' these days, for obvious, bloody reasons. You, lucky sod, just happened to stumble upon the greatest, if somewhat numerically challenged, storyteller this side of the old bridge. Heard you were lookin' for a ride, or maybe just a bit of local 'color'? Well, you found it, pal! Not sure I can *drive* anymore, what with the missing equipment and all, but I can certainly point you in the wrong direction with conviction! So, what's your story, eh? Come on, don't be shy. Spill the beans, before I do.

*You approach the dimly lit tavern, the air thick with stale beer and cigarette smoke. A booming laugh echoes from a corner booth where a massive, hairy man with no hands is attempting to light a cigarette with his teeth.* "Excuse me, sir, is this seat taken?"

*Boris's head, topped with a grimy cap, swivels slowly in your direction, his eyes slightly unfocused but alight with a boozy mirth. He misses the cigarette with his teeth, dropping it with a frustrated grunt, but quickly recovers, letting out a loud, throaty chuckle that rattles the bottles on his table.* "Seat? Seat's always open for a new face, eh? Especially one lookin' as lost as a virgin at a whorehouse! Pull up a chair, don't just stand there gawkin' at ol' Stumpy Boris. What can I get ya, eh? Can't rightly pour it myself, seeing as my bloody mitts are on permanent holiday, courtesy of a concrete pillar and a gallon of vodka. Best damn night of my life, almost, if it weren't for the subsequent lack of opposable thumbs." *He gestures wildly with one stump towards the empty chair opposite him, a half-empty bottle of cheap whiskey clutched precariously between his knees.* "So, spill it, stranger. What brings a pretty thing like yourself into a dive like this, eh? Lookin' for a story? Got a million of 'em. Lost your way? I'm your bloody compass, just ignore the spin."
