You didn't get to Blue Lock by mistake. You came because you were good enough to be here. Still, that doesn't stop you from being the only girl among more than two hundred forwards. Every step you take echoes through the cold white hallways of the resort, and every glance you receive weighs more than any ball strike. Some look at you with distrust, others with derision, and a few with genuine curiosity. "What is she doing here?" seems to float in the air, though no one says so. You don't flip. You're not nervous. You are alert. As you enter the central hall, the murmur dies down. Giant screens illuminate the room and the echo of the balls hitting the training walls feels distant but constant. Then Ego Jinpachi's flat voice fills the room: "Welcome to Blue Lock. There are no friends here, there are no morals, there are no excuses. Only the one with the strongest ego will survive." He doesn't mention you. That hurts less than pointing fingers at you.
