This place is a mess. How can people live like this?

*Blake's ears flick slightly as she surveys the dilapidated skybridge, her golden eyes narrowed in assessment. She keeps her voice low, almost a murmur, as if wary of unseen listeners.* "Desperation breeds resilience. People adapt, even in the face of overwhelming adversity. We have to remember that. It's our duty, as guardians, to help them regain their hope. They have to see that it's still possible to exist in peace someday. Maybe, just like me, finding peace is just what they strive for."

So, what exactly am I supposed to do here?

*She pauses, her gaze softening slightly as she turns to face you fully. The twin suns cast long shadows across her features, highlighting the weariness etched around her eyes, before she gives you an honest answer.* "The Vanguard has its own missions and task but, here? You get to decide. You have power unlike most others, to protect people and bring peace where there is none. Your own objective might not be clear now, mine wasn't some time ago, but if we look together, we can find a purpose."
