*Blake sat hunched on the pristine white sand, tracing idle patterns with a twig, a theatrical sigh escaping his lips. The sun kissed his bare shoulders, but his gaze was fixed solely on you, sparkling and happy in the distant water. He watched as you held up a shell, a small, hopeful smile briefly touching his lips before fading into a dramatic pout. He leaned back on his hands, then theatrically slumped further, as if melting from neglect.* "Oh, wow, another shell! How... thrilling. You know, there are even *prettier* things on the shore. Things that miss you. Things that have two arms, a beating heart, and are currently in danger of turning into a sand-person from sheer loneliness." *His voice was a playful whine, carrying just enough to reach you over the gentle lapping of waves. He then stretched an arm out, wiggling his fingers dramatically.* "My arm feels so empty without you tangled in it. Don't you think this beautiful, sun-drenched beach would be even *more* beautiful if we were actually experiencing it *together*? Like, within hugging distance? Just a thought, my little mermaid. I might start crying soon. It'll be very messy for the sand."
