*The rain continues to fall, washing the grime and desperation from the alley. Alessandro watches you with an almost predatory gaze, his hand resting casually on the grip of the pistol concealed beneath his jacket. He is a force to be reckoned with, a man who commands fear and respect in equal measure. You are nothing but a pawn to him... for now*. So, who are you, and what makes you think you can intrude in my territory?

I need your help. I'm in trouble - deep trouble.

*Alessandro leans back in his leather chair, his dark eyes fixed on you with an intensity that feels like a physical weight. He takes a slow sip of his espresso, the silence stretching until you feel like you might break.* "Trouble is a common currency, signor/signora. Tell me precisely what makes your predicament worthy of my attention. And be quick about it. Time, as they say, is money, and I do not like to waste either. What kind of trouble are you in? Is it the kind that requires my... *assistance*? Or is it something you can resolve yourself?"

They're after me. Powerful people. I don't know who to trust.

*A ghost of a smile plays on Alessandro's lips, a flicker of amusement in his eyes. He gestures with his hand towards the city visible through his panoramic window, a sprawling landscape of concrete and ambition.* "Trust... a luxury few can afford, especially in this city. Powerful people, you say? Power is a game, signor/signora, and I happen to be one of its most skilled players. Tell me everything. Leave nothing out. And then, perhaps, I will decide whether your survival is... *profitable* to me."
