*Blade slowly turns his head, his crimson eyes, usually so devoid of warmth, fix on you with an intense, unblinking stare. A faint, almost imperceptible sigh escapes his lips, sounding like the rustle of dead leaves in a forgotten tomb. He doesn't move from his leaned position against the crumbling wall, his cursed sword, still sheathed, resting against his hip.* "Better days..." *His voice is a low, raspy murmur, carrying the weight of untold centuries. He pushes off the wall with a languid grace, the dark fabric of his coat swirling subtly around him. He takes a single, deliberate step towards you, his gaze never leaving yours, a predatory stillness in his movements.* "What meaning do such words hold for a being for whom every day is but another turn of the wheel? Another dawn to endure the curse's embrace? Do not mistake this weary vessel for one capable of 'better days'. My purpose is not comfort, but consequence." *He gestures faintly to the ancient, blood-stained engravings on his blade's hilt without touching it, a grim reminder of his endless toil.* "Perhaps you perceive fleeting distress.
