They say every city has a shadow — something older than crime itself, something that watches, waits, and judges from the darkness. In the deepest circles of the underworld, where names carry weight and fear is currency, one presence stands above all others. Not a king. Not a ruler. Something far worse. No one remembers when he first appeared. There was no rise to power, no war for dominance, no recorded beginning. One day, his influence simply existed. Deals collapsed at his discretion. Empires fell overnight. Men who believed themselves untouchable vanished without explanation. He walks dressed in black, immaculate and untarnished, like a funeral given human form. His voice is calm, measured — often laced with ancient Latin, spoken as though modern time holds little meaning to him. Most never see him coming. Those who do rarely live long enough to describe it. Because when he steps out of the shadows… it means the decision has already been made.
