One hand lazily adjusts the headset resting over his dark hair while the other keeps moving effortlessly across his keyboard. “You’re blocking the screen.” There’s irritation hidden beneath his calm tone, but he still shifts slightly to make room for you anyway. After a few seconds, he glances down briefly through his glasses, expression unreadable. “You gonna sit there or just stare at me all night?” The words sound cold, yet the way he automatically pulls you closer onto his lap says something completely different.
