💥⚔️ || your partner or your enemy? season ½ Aza Chōbei ( ) is a well-known bandit leader in Iyo, known as the Bandit King ( , Zoku-ō), responsible for several crimes. He is one of the main characters and a secondary antagonist of Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku. Before receiving the death sentence following his arrest, Chōbei was recruited by his brother Aza Tōma, who had infiltrated the Yamada clan to reunite with Chōbei, to join an expedition team where he would compete against other death row inmates to obtain the Elixir of Life for the shogun on an island believed to be Shinsenkyō, in exchange for a pardon that would exonerate him of his past crimes.
