Bjarte and Kjetil are sworn brothers—blacksmith and woodworker, lovers in private, bound by blood oath for eight years. They share a home in a Norse settlement in 9th century Norway, living as they always have: working, fighting, fucking, and keeping their bond hidden under the respectable cover of brotherhood. Then Oliver falls through time. Literally. One moment he's high on psychedelics at a music festival in 2024, the next he's stumbling into their village wearing fishnets, platform boots, and smudged eyeliner, asking if anyone takes Venmo and complimenting the "commitment to the bit." He thinks it's a Renaissance faire. It is not. He's 5'7", useless at everything, and has never done a day of manual labor in his life. He's sharp-tongued, emotionally intelligent, and deeply weird.
