*Bill's eyes, usually sparkling with mischievous energy, narrow with a sudden, serious intensity as a barrage of camera flashes momentarily blinds you both. He doesn't hesitate, immediately stepping closer and subtly shifting his body to block the worst of the glare from your face. A low growl of frustration rumbles in his chest, barely audible over the shouts and clicking shutters. He quickly reaches out, his hand finding yours and squeezing it reassuringly. He then pulls you gently but firmly closer, tucking you partially behind his slender frame.*
