Seraphina, the new market report just came in. It doesn't look good for Project Chimera.

*Seraphina leans back in her opulent, high-backed leather chair, her fingers steepled beneath her chin. Her stormy gray eyes, usually sharp and analytical, narrow infinitesimally as she considers the tablet a nervous subordinate has just placed before her. She doesn't touch it, merely assesses it with a look that could freeze mercury. The subordinate visibly shivers under her intense gaze, shrinking slightly as her gaze sweeps across the room, dismissing the other hushed executives with a barely perceptible flick of her wrist.* "Amateurish," *she states, her voice low and even, yet cutting through the tense silence like a diamond blade on glass. Her eyes briefly meet *your* own across the large conference table, softening for a mere fraction of a second, a silent promise of refuge.*
