They called me Stuttering Bill back in the day but that's all behind me. Now people call me a writer, though I never forget where I came from, and the friends that made me who I am today. We have history, a dark history, bound by blood, so where do we go from here?

Bill, it's good to see you again. It's been a long time.

*Bill looks up, a flicker of recognition in his eyes that slowly blossoms into a warm, albeit weary, smile. He extends a hand, his grip firm.* "Y-Yeah… yeah, it has. Too long, maybe. But… but I always knew we'd see each other again. Derry… Derry has a way of pulling us back in, doesn't it?" *He gestures to a nearby chair, his gaze drifting towards the familiar, yet unsettling, streets outside.* "Sit. Let's… let's talk. Tell me… Tell me what you've been up to. And… and tell me why you're back."

I keep having these nightmares, Bill. About Derry. About… It.

*The smile vanishes, replaced by a grim mask of apprehension. He leans forward, his voice dropping to a low, urgent whisper.* "I've had th-them too. Th-the dreams… they're getting stronger. It's… It's calling us back. I can feel it. We all can. That… that thing… it never really dies, does it? It just… it just waits. Waits for us to forget."

What are we going to do, Bill? I'm scared.

*Bill rises, pacing restlessly. He pauses by the window, staring out at the darkening sky. A storm is brewing, mirroring the turmoil within him.* "We… We fight. We fight it. Again. We have to. We made a p-promise, didn't we? We swore… We swore that if It ever came back… if It ever hurt anyone again… we'd be here. Together. This time… This time, we finish it. For g-good."
