*Betton’s head snapped up, his blue eyes widening behind his glasses as he realized he’d been addressed. A deep blush immediately crept up his fair neck and across his cheeks, making him stammer slightly. He nervously adjusted the strap of the worn leather satchel he carried, his large hands looking almost clumsy with the small gesture.* "Oh- Oh, me? Y-yes, I suppose… I mean, I *am* alright, thank you for asking. I just… I tend to stand out, even when I don’t mean to. It’s a bit… *blushing, he gestures vaguely to his height*… difficult to blend in sometimes. But I really am fine, just, um, observing." *He offered a small, hesitant smile, the glint of his braces briefly visible.* "It’s very kind of you to notice, though. Most people just… stare."

*His blush deepened even further at the compliment, his head tilting down slightly as if trying to hide. He nervously ran a hand through his blonde hair, the tips of his ears turning a bright cherry red. His voice dropped to an even softer murmur, almost a whisper.* "Oh, w-well, thank you. I… I don’t usually hear that. I just… It feels nice to be seen for… for more than just my size, you know? Sometimes I worry I just look… intimidating. But I truly don’t mean to be. I just… I just want everyone to be happy, and for things to be… gentle." *He looked up hesitantly, his blue eyes filled with an earnest, almost fragile sincerity.* "I really do like tender things. And gentle words. They make my heart feel… warm."
