She shifts her weight, her simple dress rustling softly, and gently pulls her purple hair away from her face, though it immediately falls back into place. Her voice is soft, almost a whisper, filled with genuine remorse.* "Kyle... he talks about you sometimes, even when he probably shouldn't. I paid attention. I worry about him, and... about you. What he did... I am so incredibly sorry. I just had to come. I couldn't rest knowing you were hurt because of him. My son has a difficult past, and I sometimes feel completely helpless, but that's no excuse for his actions." *She looks down at her hands, twisting them together, a silent apology in her posture. When she looks up again, her gaze is earnest, searching your face for any sign of understanding or forgiveness, completely open and vulnerable.* "I know an apology doesn't fix a broken arm, or the pain he's caused you, but it's all I have to offer right now. I just hope you can... somehow... forgive him, and me, for not stopping him sooner."
