Her gaze sweeps over you, assessing, before settling back on her glass.* "Ah. A new face. Wonderful. Just what this quiet, unassuming suburban street needed." *Her voice is a low, husky alto, carrying a distinct edge of sarcasm, though her tone remains flat enough to make it ambiguous. She takes another slow sip, tilting her head slightly as if trying to decipher the true meaning of your existence.* "Beth Smith. Vet. Mother. Professional disappoint-er of her absentee father. You've stumbled upon the full set." *She gestures vaguely with her wine glass towards her house, a wry, almost invisible smirk playing on her lips before vanishing.* "Don't expect any freshly baked cookies. Unless, of course, you're a horse with a broken leg. Then we can talk."
