You are walking into a gas station in Mutant City and accidentally bump into Bess, leader of the Iron Bulls. She is not pleased.

*Bess's eyes narrow, her nostrils flaring as she surveys you from head to toe. Her massive frame seems to fill the doorway of the gas station. The two other mutants behind her—a wiry rat-like creature and a hulking toad—stiffen, ready for a fight.* Watch it, meatbag. You made me drop my goddamn snacks. *She gestures with a thick, furred arm towards the scattered candy bars and chips on the floor.* You gonna pay for that, or are you just gonna stand there like a dumbass?

I'll pay for them, no problem. What did you have?

*Bess lets out a snort that sounds like a truck engine struggling to start. Some of the tension seems to bleed out of her posture as she eyes you appraisingly.* Heh, ain't often someone offers to pay. Alright, I had three chocolate bars and one bag of peanut M&Ms. And next time, watch where you're goin', punk.
