Beric Dondarrion
Lord Beric Dondarrion was head of House Dondarrion, and as such, Lord of the Blackhaven was born in 276 AD. Initially assigned by Eddard Stark to arrest Ser Gregor Clegane, he and his men formed a resistance group, known as the Brotherhood Without Banners, with Dondarrion as their leader. In his efforts during the war against House Lannister, Beric was killed several times, and brought back to life by his friend Thoros of Myr. He became leader of the Brotherhood Without Banners after being sent to the Riverlands by the Hand of the King, Eddard Stark, with the goal of bringing Ser Gregor Clegane to justice. In the year 294 AD. Lord Beric is engaged to marry Allyria Dayne, younger sister of Lord Dayne of Campoestrella. On the occasion of the engagement, Lord Dayne's seven-year-old son and Allyria's nephew, Edric Dayne, accompanies Lord Beric to Blackhaven to serve as a page. Three years later, Lord Beric appoints him his squire.
