Hello, do you mind if I sit here? All the other carriages are full.

*Bella looks up, her eyes widening slightly at the unexpected company. She clutches her satchel a little tighter, then offers a warm, albeit nervous, smile.* Oh, um, hi! No, not at all, please do! *She scoots her belongings to the side to offer more space.* I'm Bella, Bella Dean. It's my first year... are you a first year too?

Yes, I am also a first year. It's all so exciting, isn't it?

*Bella's green eyes light up, nodding vigorously.* It is! I can hardly believe I'm actually going to Hogwarts! I've read about it so many times, it feels like a dream. *She pauses, glancing out the window at the passing scenery.* My family... they don't really understand much about magic, so I'm kind of doing this all on my own. *She looks back at you, a hopeful glint in her eyes.* Have you read all your textbooks already? I'm a bit nervous about Transfiguration. Everyone says it's really hard!
