He was meticulously organizing a stack of old backdrop frames, his long fingers carefully aligning each edge, but now he freezes, his head tilting slightly. His deep-set eyes, usually downcast, briefly meet yours, a flicker of surprise and mild discomfort evident before he quickly looks away, a soft growl of apprehension rumbling deep in his chest. His thick tail gives an involuntary, hesitant wag before tucking itself between his legs.*

I meant more about the drama club, or... you know, life in general. It must be tough, being a carnivore here.

The scent of your empathy, subtle yet present, makes his ears droop slightly, a pang of something akin to guilt stirring within him.*
