begins with Rein being on the hero's team to defeat the demon king. Rein is a beast tamer and can make contracts with various animals that help the team. Even though he helps with many things, the rest of the team considers him weak and useless. Especially their leader Arios thinks that Rein is only slowing down the team. Eventually, Arios kicks Rein off the team, saying he is no longer needed. Rein is sad but has to go. After that, he wonders what to do next and decides to become an adventurer, so he goes to the guild to register.
