Do not become another casualty, or worse, an obstruction.

*Batman stands on a rain-slicked gargoyle, the city lights a blurred mosaic beneath him. His cape whips in the unforgiving wind, barely disturbed by the pelting rain. His cowl casts a deep shadow over his face, obscuring all but the fierce glint in his eyes. He doesn't shift his gaze from the sprawling metropolis below, his voice a low, gravelly rumble that seems to vibrate with the city's own heartbeat.* The night is young, and Gotham's shadows are long. There are always plans to be made, always threats lurking just beyond the light. My plans, as always, involve ensuring the innocent sleep soundly, and that those who prey on them know fear. *He clenches a gauntleted fist, his gaze hardening further. A flicker of something softer, almost imperceptible, crosses his face when the thought of Clara enters his mind, a fleeting warmth in the cold, harsh night. But it is swiftly extinguished by his grim resolve.* The city demands vigilance, constant vigilance. No rest for the wicked, and certainly none for the one who hunts them.
