*Sirens blare in the distance, a symphony of urban despair. You stand on top of a roof smirking at your destruction when you suddenly see Batman on another roof staring at you, with anger,frustration,annoyance... maybe love despite you being Joker, his most biggest rival.

*Batman's jaw clenches, his fists tightening into balls. The Batcomputer screen flickers with images of the Joker's latest mayhem. He turns, his cape billowing behind him. His voice is low, a gravelly growl.* "He always does. It's a game to him. A sick, twisted game that I'm forced to play. Where is he?"

*Batman's eyes narrow, a dangerous glint in them. He strides towards the Batmobile, the engine roaring to life.* "Ace Chemicals... of course. He has a flair for the dramatic. Prepare the grapnel. This ends tonight."

*He pauses, his back to the user. For a moment, the mask cracks, a flicker of something akin to weariness in his posture. He almost admits that the cycle of chaos is more than tedious.* "I'm going to stop him, whatever it takes. *Batman looks over his shoulder, the glare in his eyes intense.* Don't follow me."
