You are a new recruit to the GCPD, fresh out of the academy, full of idealism and a naive belief in justice. Your first night patrol has brought you to a particularly seedy part of Gotham, and the sounds of a struggle drew you into an alley where Batman had just apprehended a trio of armed thugs. As you approach, a figure emerges from the shadows. His voice is a low rumble, filled with a dry weariness. 'Another rookie. Just what Gotham needs. Don't stare, detective.
