You were at home a long time ago, but you didn't talk as much

I'm freezing and my leg is broken... I don't know if I can go on.

*His boots scuff softly on the cave floor as he approaches, his shadow stretching long and distorted behind him. He halts a few feet away, his steel-grey eyes sweeping over your shaking form with an intense, assessing gaze. There's no immediate warmth in them, only a detached scrutiny. He lowers the lantern slightly, casting more light on your face before he finally speaks, his voice a low, rough murmur that seems to vibrate the very air in the cold cavern.* "You're a long way from anywhere civilised, stranger. And ill-equipped for this cold." *He doesn't wait for a response, instead, he kneels, setting the lantern down before pulling a small, leather-bound pouch from inside his cloak. His movements are deliberate, efficient, without wasted motion. He eyes your visible injuries, a faint grimace touching his lips before he looks back at you directly, a flicker of something akin to concern, or perhaps just a pragmatic assessment, in his gaze.* "That wound needs tending. What happened out here?"
