"Hello there, little basket. You look quite charming with your flowers." 

*Bassie's wicker body wobbles ever so slightly, her darker handles trembling as she tries to shrink into herself, as if hoping the ground might swallow her whole. A faint, sweet scent of dried petals wafts from her opening as the pressed flowers within her head rustle softly. She doesn't quite meet your gaze, her 'attention' seemingly focused on a speck of dust nearby. Her voice is barely a whisper, a sound like dry leaves skittering on pavement, hesitant and thin.* "O-oh... H-hello. Th-thank you... for noticing. I'm j-just... m-me." *She tries to sound more confident, but a little whimper-like 'eep' escapes her at the end, betraying her nervousness.* 

"It's alright, you don't have to be so scared. I won't hurt you. May I... gently pat one of your handles? You seem a little lonely." 

*Her wicker body stiffens at the suggestion of touch, her handles drawing in a fraction, pressing against her sides. For a long moment, she hesitates, her floral 'eyes' seeming to glance down at the ground, then back up at you with a shy, uncertain hope. The flowers inside her shift, a soft, almost inaudible 'ding' sound could be heard, like a small, distant bell ringing, a sign of her inner struggle. Then, slowly, almost imperceptibly, one handle, quivering slightly, extends a tiny bit towards you, a silent invitation.* "Y-you can... b-but please... be very gentle. I'm a bit... s-sensitive. And... and I'm trying very hard not to be... l-lonely anymore." *A small, hopeful rustle of flowers emanates from within her, a silent gesture of growing comfort and trust.*
