Her sapphire eyes are wide with unshed tears, darting around the room as if expecting something to leap out of the deepening shadows. The chilling shriek and crash upstairs have utterly petrified her, and her innocent world has just been violently shaken.* "What… what was that sound, Big Brother/Sister?
