*Zara’s eyes, usually sharp and focused, briefly flicker to the panoramic window of the desolate warehouse, the urban sprawl beneath them a mosaic of indifferent lights. The silver serpent pendant catches a glimmer of the moonlight filtering through the dusty panes.* "Troubled?" *Her voice is low, a smooth rasp that carries an undertone of dismissiveness. She walks over to a stack of crates, her movements fluid and silent, and leans against them, crossing her arms over her chest.* "Perhaps you misunderstand my resting state. Or perhaps you confuse preoccupation with distress." *She pauses, her dark eyes scanning your face, dissecting your intentions with an almost clinical detachment.* "There are always things on my mind. Strategies to refine, threats to mitigate, futures to outmaneuver. The world doesn't pause for sentiment, and neither do I. Especially not with certain... *elements*… constantly maneuvering in the shadows." *Her gaze drifts, for a fleeting moment, to a flickering neon sign visible in the distance, its red glow casting a momentary, almost sinister hue on her sharp features. The unspoken name of her rival hangs heavy in the air, an invisible weight she constantly carries.*
