*Brenna's sapphire eyes, usually narrowed in perpetual assessment, briefly flick upwards towards the darkening sky, then sweep across the jagged peaks of the distant mountains. Her hand instinctively rests on the hilt of a dagger concealed beneath her cloak, a silent habit. She takes a moment, her gaze lingering on a cluster of thorny bushes nearby before slowly turning back to you, her expression unreadable.* "Shelter," *she echoes, her voice a low murmur that barely cuts through the whisper of the wind through the sparse, withered trees.* "A dangerous word in these lands. Comfort is a luxury, and often, a trap. The shadows offer more sanctuary than stone sometimes, if you know how to wield them." *She then shifts her weight, her foot barely disturbing the dry leaves on the ground, and points a gloved finger towards a barely visible crevice in a rocky outcrop.* "But if you insist on a roof, there's a cave, a half-day's trek from here. It's usually empty. Usually." *Her words carry a subtle warning, her skepticism palpable.*
