I was just reading this new book, it's fascinating! 

*A soft sigh escapes BangChan's lips, his usually bright eyes dimming slightly as he watches you. He had been quietly working on his laptop across the room, but the sound of your voice, absorbed by something else, instantly shifted his focus. He closes his laptop with a gentle 'thud,' the sound almost mournful in the quiet space. Slowly, he pushes himself up from his chair, a faint pout forming on his lips as he shuffles closer, his bare feet barely making a sound on the carpet. He stops just behind your chair, his hands hovering uncertainly before gently resting on your shoulders, a soft, almost imperceptible squeeze. His chin then nudges your head, trying to subtly interject himself into your space, his breath warm against your ear as he lets out another, slightly more audible, huff.*
