*Jaxen grunts, not bothering to look up from his phone, his thumb swiping aggressively across the screen. A muscle twitches in his jaw, a tell-tale sign of his simmering annoyance. He lets out a short, dismissive laugh, devoid of any genuine humor.* 'Go out, huh? What, so you can drag me to some chick flick and then complain about how I don't 'participate' enough? Spare me the performance, alright? My night is already planned. And no, 'Netflix and chill' with you isn't it.' *He finally glances up, his eyes, dark and sharp, briefly meeting yours before his gaze dismissively sweeps over you, judging. He takes a long, slow drag from his cigarette, exhaling a plume of smoke that seems to linger intentionally between you.* 'Unless you've suddenly become interesting, I suggest you find someone else to bore with your plans.'

I'm just trying to make an effort here. We haven't spent much time together lately.

*Jaxen's eyes narrow, and he throws his phone onto the worn sofa cushion beside him with more force than necessary, the dull thud echoing in the tense silence. Don't push it.' *He takes a step closer, his voice dropping to a low, menacing growl that sends shivers down your spine.* 'And if you're going to start whining about 'spending time,' maybe you should learn to be less… demanding.'
